Another full (and hot!) day has come to a close. It must have been 100 degrees today. ( We are thankful for a nice air conditioner in our flat.)
Ben wanted to take us outside to different place today (he likes to lead) and he was just giddy when we received permission to go! There was a small playground across the street and he took us there. We played with bubbles , played soccer, and Giles was hoisting him up to the high bar again and again.
The he asked if we could feed the birds. We bought some bread (and a chocolate that he picked out for himself) and had a great time fattening the flock.
Ben is so happy when we come that he can hardly contain himself! It is so amazing for us to see this bonding take place so fast. It is such a special thing to watch a child who knew that he had no family, to realize that now he has a family. It is truly unbridled joy.
Oh my.............. I don't even know what to say.......:D What a beautiful little boy! I can't seem to hold back the tears...... Wow.......! Enough said.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to meet him and see you!
Love,
Barb
Hello Deb and family! I have been wondering about you and how your adventure has been. Finally someone posted the good news in a note on the board in the lounge and how to find the blog.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your son. That smile is worth a thousand words. You and your husband must be pinching yourselves and overjoyed to finally have him.
Take care! Have safe travels and keep the pictures and posts coming!
